"what's a place you'd like to visit someday?"

I can't handle the cold well, but I'd like to see it snow some day. Of course, the way things are trending, it might snow where I live within the decade, so I guess let's try being a little more specific.

I think I would love to go to the Netherlands! I don't know much about the place but it never fails to look good on paper.

Honestly, I believe most people would mention what huge cities they'd visit, but I mostly want to avoid such places. I can't handle the bustle, and I am quickly overwhelmed by the manmade horrors.

Mostly, I want to go to quiet places with plenty of greenery. I'm tired of being surrounded by concrete and withered plants. A little bit more pleasantness would go a long, long way... There are plenty such places in my country, of course, I wouldn't even need to go overseas, but I am not that free as to go where I please when I please.

"Are you familiar with the hit indie game Balatro"

Yeah! I've played it for 40-something hours. It's fun, I like it, and it's one of the games I've played the most recently.

I've only gotten as far as beating Black Stake and clearing a couple of the challenge runs, it turns out I'm not all too good at the game, but it is fun, it has hooked me, and I keep coming back, even if just to lose a couple more runs.

I've actually tried to run it on my Powkiddy v10, but it crashes when I try to start a run, so I do not have Balatro everywhere I go. Yet.

"do you have a favorite tarot card, Perchance?"

I'm not all that well versed in the meanings of the cards and such, and I have friends who are very much into tarot, some of which have done readings for me before, so I'll just make it clear first that my choice is made from a very superficial understanding, and yes, it's going to be from the major arcana.

I like The Fool! Someone setting off on their own journey, it has this air of freedom, excitement, naivetΓ© and gives the impression of one diving into the unknown with aprehension and excitement. They also have a little doggy. Could've been a cat, or a raccoon, but, y'know, it's fine, whatever.

Notably, it also copies the last used Tarot or Planetary card so it's good to keep it around to double up some other useful card. It can come in pretty handy!

"how does the fluff dimension work, exactly? is there some sort of portal hidden in your tail? does it just shrink anyone it touches? also. how do you leave. please help"

If you get into my tail fluff you'll continue sinking and sinking and sinking until you disappear!

That's the fluff dimension, welcome! It is warm, fluffy and dark inside, with a gentle fruity scent, and if you panic, you're probably not getting out for a while. You can just float and swim around as you wish, you may just find someone else chilling in there. Now, if you want to leave, then your best bet really is to just get cozy and fall asleep, you will wake up as if it had just been a dream! Well, hopefully. It's really a matter of whether you really want to leave.

Question asked by Chelsea
"I like your tail a lot. Very fluffy and comfy looking. Just hypothetically perhaps if I could, would I be allowed to hug it? :3"

It is very fluffy and comfy, I'm sure a lot of people can confirm! ^-^

Anyone who's nice enough can hug the tail, I don't mind it, just be ready to brace yourself in case I swing it to one side. Also, be careful not to get lost in the fluff dimension...

Question asked by strudelfatpaws
"whats ur least/most favorite programming language..."

My least favourite is, and will always be, C++. It comes from hell, and it induces despair. It is often taught as a first language, and there's no worse thing you can do to a beginner than to teach them C++. It is the culmination of four decades of it trying to fix itself, and it shows. It is not intuitive or ergonomic, rather it's massively complex and it would take a lifetime to learn about everything it has to offer.

My favorite, though? Uh... uhm... I don't know... it really depends on what I'm currently being autistic about. Right now it is Lua, two months ago it was Rust, and two months before that it was FreeBASIC. I am really bad at picking faves, it turns out. When I attempted Advent of Code last year, rather than picking one language I am comfortable with, I picked ten, and it was actually really fun juggling all of them and committing to solving the day's problem with whichever one got drawn. Let's use that to pick an honorary favourite, just to answer your question. ^-^

I think my favourite solution for last year's Advent of Code was Day 7, where I actually tried two different approaches. An iterative one using base math, and a recursive one, where I first realized there are problems out there where a recursive solution is actually better than an iterative one. I wrote that one in Lua, so I'll pick that as a fave. Brasil nΓΊmero um campeΓ£o do mundo! πŸ‡§πŸ‡·πŸ‡§πŸ‡·πŸ‡§πŸ‡·

Question asked by hexedbug
"pets you"

*purr purr*

You know... it would feel very nice to pet me, and people would probably have preferences over where feels best... The lighter blue fluff that covers most of my body is shorter, and petting there, most of the sensation will be from my body shape rather than the fur itself. Whether it's my back, my cheeks, or my tummy, they're all good choices.

The darker fur that makes up my chest fluff and the ends of my limbs is much denser and longer, with a bit of a memory, if you push your hand into my chest fluff, you might leave a bit of an indent. Of course the chest is a favourite spot for rubbing and stroking, or even plunging your face into, but the feeling also extends to my arms and legs. I can assure you it feels really nice to hold my hands. It would also feel nice to hug my leg and lean your face against it. You might need to consider the optics if you're doing that, though.

The darkest fur, my hair, or my mane if you'd prefer to call it that. It's pretty good at keeping its shape, but it feels soft and silky, you can't go wrong with headpats, I definitely appreciate them. πŸ’™

And of course, there's my tail... It's very big, the fur is very dense, and depending on your size you might actually be able to sink your entire arm into it (or more!) A significant portion of my tail's weight is just fur, but of course there's the actual tail part! It's thick and strong enough to lift you. It takes a lot of effort though, so I just drag it on the floor most of the time. You're always free to help me brush it, it takes a lot of upkeep to keep my tail fur neat.

Question asked by Mg. Snowy Fences of The Bobbus
"Is there something you wish to experiment or mess with that you haven't gotten to yet? Consider this a bit of encouragement to do so, if you're able."

There are so many things I want to mess around with and get good at, but I always freeze up when push comes to shove.

Animation is a big one. I'm sure you've seen that little gif of Kett doing the Caramelldansen, which was part of a project from my now-defunct Discord server. I'm still really proud of myself for that one, but it is, what, four frames, and it took me three days to complete. Animation is a lot of work and I still did not dive into it in a meaningful way despite how much I like the medium.

There's also music. I have made a few tracks for two of my jam games, but if I'm going to be honest with myself here, they kind of suck!! I want to be able to make music that you'd want to listen on its own, and these don't really strike me as that sort of thing.

3D Modelling. Oughh.... I've made a Kett model about four years ago. Never got to rigging. I did make one of Bluefire (my old sona) and not only did I animate it, I also put it in Godot. I don't really have as much drive to do things like that anymore, but it's worth noting that it took me months to get that Bluefire done. I was less skilled and more persistent. That applies to a lot of things I've done over the years, it turns out. I think there's a lesson to be learned there.

I realize you asked about things I want to experiment or mess with which I haven't gotten to yet, though. These were all things I have explored and just don't think I've done well so far. Well, I kind of want to start cooking. Issue is, around family, I'd probably get too embarassed to πŸ˜…... So I have not gone beyond preparing omelettes for myself, but even that is so satisfying that I feel I need to branch out more and try new things. I can only hope I can push myself to be more confident. In general, really.

"What's a drink you've never had before that you want to try?"

Plenty, I think :)

Immediately I think of Boba tea, I never tried it, but if it's talked about so much, it is probably good.

I am also kind of interested in the so-called "girl drinks," I want to drink some sweet fruity mix and get drunk out of my god damn mind, you get me?

I also want to drink you, Chai. ^^

Question asked by impy
"Favorite webcomic/series?"

Well, I like xkcd a bunch, that's the one webcomic which I keep checking back on every couple of weeks. So I'd say that's my favorite one. I even bought that one book, what if?, and I do not usually buy books.

I'm gonna be honest, I haven't really read that many webcomics! Homestuck was unavoidable, that's for sure. I read a good four thousand pages before I figured out that I hated it, actually.

Oh yeah, there's also Prequel which is kind of formatted like an MS Paint Adventure, but it has a funny cat woman as a protagonist. I should probably get caught up on that one.

Oh! Also, Poppy O'Possum! I really liked that one and I started reading it while it was still being updated... I'd eventually stopped when I had caught up and then it turned from a webcomic to a novel, apparently? That was quite a bit ago!

My interest in webcomics dwindled over the years, but with some friends making some of their own, like TEKA and Rusted, I've given serious thought to not only reading them more, but also making one of my own. Let's see if I can manage!

"any favorite kind of personality for macros to have?"

Well, hey I don't really mind their personality as long as they help with my productivity. Fewer button presses are always a good thing.

Wait that's not what you meant?

I really don't know, it's not something I give much thought. I like it when they're smug about it, I also like when it's slightly flustering for them to be Large.

I just think the idea of being a little big is neat πŸ’¦

"thoughts on dragons? or any species in particular?"

They are so cool! I should make myself a couple more dragon characters

Unfortunately, I'm not too versed in all the different species, and all the different representations of dragons in different cultures, but it is really neat how different civilizations came up with such similar concepts.

I want a big scary dragon to hold me.

"Ever had a game you really liked get popular and grow a meme base that didn't exactly vibe with you? I. E. Fortnite, amongus, TF2, etc. "

I am very lucky in the sense that the things I like usually aren't as popular as Among Us or Fortnite to get particularly annoying. I am also not very active in any sort of fandom to be exposed to the memey side of things.

The closest thing to liking something and not liking the fanbase would be something like Undertale/Deltarune, but that isn't that bad at all these days.

"what do you think of tarot and the like? Astrology, Divination, etc."

I'm not really a fan of Astrology, but Tarot and Divination does interest me a little, though I'd leave readings in the hands of someone who has a bit more of an idea on how it works!

Sometimes I do want to believe in things that are magical, or divine or occult but I'm a little too cynical for my own good. I guess I should look more into stuff like that, it could be fun, or at the very least interesting!

Question asked by Revoblam
"What's your favorite videogame genre?"

I hate all of them.

Racing games used to be my favourite, but eventually I got bored of them. I do revisit those every now and then, but never for too long before I get bored.

First person shooters can be really nice, thing is I don't really want to play the role of some army guy fighting in a 'realistic' dramatised war. Stuff like that is extremely oversaturated and I hate it to bits... and that's why DOOM 2016 was a breath of fresh air, now THAT's a good first person shooter that prioritises gameplay over narrative (and even then the narrative is interesting too. "Demons in Mars" as a plot point appeals a lot more to me than "World War 3")

Roguelikes are probably the most tragic genre. Most modern roguelikes are nothing like Rogue and that is good because Rogue SUCKS... but it's also bad because there are some good ideas there in the lineage that aren't taken much advantage of in more mainstream (and presentable) games in the genre. Thing is, Rogue is based off tabletop RPGs, but while computers are good at rules, they aren't good at generating a good story for players to experience. Modern roguelikes boil down to action RPGs with permanent death, upgrades, and sometimes procedurally generated environents. Resourcefulness is rarely a skill that is tested on modern roguelikes, which is a shame, I'd prefer setting traps and being sneaky like a rogue, rather than rain down hell on enemies while dodging the hundreds of bullets they hurl at me.

Of course, I'm bad at games, and would die a lot either way, but one of those sounds a little more fun than the other, to me.

The best game genre is Match-3 puzzles. I'm going to play some more Bejeweled.

Question asked by PencilVoid
"What are your goals?"

With this site? With my art? My lore? My life? In general?

I don't know, I can never talk about these sorts of things with certainty. I spend my free time doing things I enjoy, and there's no goal attributed to that. I just want to have a good time while I can still enjoy it.

I don't really think I can make a career out of anything I create, I don't think I do enough, or that I am good enough at any of it. Having a job also really cut down on the time and energy I'd have to improve myself and sort those things out.

Strangely, people around me continue to say how I am talented and how they wish they were as skilled as I am at the things that I do. That is really flattering and makes me thing that my biggest issue is how little confidence I have in myself and my skills... and that makes sense. After all I DO know my fair share of people who aren't that bright and still found success through sheer charisma or misplaced confidence. Maybe I should be dangerously overconfident.

Oh. I guess that's my goal. Confidence. Maybe then I can work myself up to have more concrete goals.

"what was your favorite old console?"
The only consoles I've ever owned were PlayStation ones. When I was little I used to play a lot of Driver on my dad's PS1 and I guess that's what made me like car games, even though I stopped playing those as much as I used to I still enjoy them, from time to time. Both the PS1 and PS2 hold a lot of my early gaming memories, so I can't really decide between the two, honestly.

"What is something you wanted to tell for a long time and finally was able to? And what comforted you in saying it after not daring/not wanting to share"

I've had a few moments where I had to tell people that things they've been doing were bothering me, and usually I'd put off saying anything for a long time and bottling up stresses and frustrations.

It's very important to voice your frustrations with someone who can alleviate them. Keeping quiet or lashing out does not help, ever.

Question asked by ANAVAH
"When did you started drawing?"

2012 is when I started drawing animals on the Internet, I was 12 years old and I had no clue what a "furry" was.

My doodles then were god awful, to put it kindly. It was all done just for a little role-playing forum game that I'd created, called Cat Revolution... About 8... 10 people had taken part on that over the couple years I'd kept hosting it. It was pretty fun, and I'd love to do something like that again some time, especially considering how automation would've been a boon for a project like that, it involved a lot of combat mechanics that I could get away with relegating to a computer.

2014 was when I started taking it a little more seriously, after joining Drawception. It's not like drawings there were too good, but I was definitely getting better, in comparison. I did a fair amount of role-play with drawings on my time on their forums, and I believe that made me a little better at drawing, and if not, well, it was still fun.

#fight-or-flight came first, it was called that just because I thought it was funny.

The server grew and I started to feel like just one general channel wouldn't cut it, so #flight-or-fight was born, I named it that because I thought it was funny.

I guess what this tells us at the end of the day, is that I'm just not very funny.

End of 2019. I designed the character we now know as Kett and soon after the world was plunged into chaos.
